Ogden Commons (OC) Living Building A2
Ogden Commons (OC) Living – Building A2, located at 1312 S. Talman Ave in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood, is a 75-unit residential development within the larger $200 million Ogden Commons mixed-use campus. Developed in partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority, Habitat, and Sinai Chicago, the project is part of a broader effort to integrate quality housing, healthcare, and community resources in one cohesive development.
Building A2 features a strong affordability component, with 82% of its units designated as affordable housing, including 30 homes reserved for Chicago Housing Authority residents, along with 13 market-rate units. As part of a multi-building campus, the project contributes to a vibrant, mixed-use environment designed to support long-term community growth.
Toro served as the subcontractor for the general trades package, including framing, rough carpentry, drywall, thermal insulation, DEFS, and punched window installation, playing a key role in the successful delivery of this impactful development.
