Franciscan Outreach
Redevelopment of Franciscan Outreach’s new facility at 2508 W. 21st Street, transforming a 45,000-square-foot vacant, multi-building property into a 120-bed non-congregate shelter with integrated supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Delivered in partnership with the Department of Housing’s Non-Congregate Shelter Acquisition program, the project is designed to provide safe, accessible, and dignified accommodations alongside critical resources for long-term stability.
The scope includes a full interior build-out of the easternmost building to create dorm-style living arrangements consisting of 2–4 sleeping rooms with shared bathrooms, as well as dining and community areas and a new elevator to ensure full accessibility. Adjacent buildings will be rehabilitated to support staff operations, including administrative offices, case management space, and a dedicated intake and entry area. Additional structures will provide flexible shelter space, a commercial kitchen, laundry facilities, shared bathrooms, and program space for partner organizations delivering on-site services. Our team is responsible for the stick framing, playing a key role in bringing this mission-driven development to life.
