CHA ALTGELD GARDENS BLOCKS 7 & 8

Owned by the Chicago Public Housing Authority, Altgeld Gardens was founded on 1944 with the mission of providing affordable housing for the community. It is currently located on the far south side of Chicago and Riverdale Illinois. Altgeld, currently counts with 1498 units. This project consisted of the renovation of 218 units. Toro worked  as a prime contractor in collaboration with Chicago Housing Authority.
